Technical information
The figures, ranges and methods published on this site are general industry guidance drawn from our own practice. They are not a substitute for site-specific assessment by a competent person. Root ball dimensions, crane selection, structural loading, species selection and irrigation design all depend on conditions we cannot see from here.
The calculators
The root ball calculator and the planting density illustration are indicative teaching tools. They do not account for actual root architecture, previous transplanting, buried services, soil moisture on the day, or crane capacity and reach. Do not use their output as a lifting plan.
Regulatory references
Where this site refers to regulations, including Dubai Green Building Regulations and Specifications, the reference is descriptive. Thresholds and their application vary by edition, plot and authority, and must be confirmed against the current regulation for your project. Nothing here is compliance advice.
