Supply is only half of it. What matters is whether the stock is the right size for the pit, the right species for the water budget, and in a condition to survive the first summer after handover.
Date and ornamental palms
Phoenix dactylifera in a range of clear trunk heights, Washingtonia, Bismarckia and other ornamental species. Supplied field-grown or containerised, with the crown tied and protected for transport.
Semi-mature trees
Shade and avenue stock in usable calibres, selected for the sun path and the soil rather than the drawing. Where a specimen has to be a specimen, we would rather transplant one than sell you a sapling and a wait.
Shrubs and groundcover
Container stock in the volumes a real schedule needs, matched to irrigation zone and exposure rather than to a catalogue photograph.
Indigenous and adaptive species
The palette that satisfies the native and adaptive planting requirement and then survives on the water budget you actually have.
Do you need new stock, or the tree that is already there?
Where a project is clearing mature trees on one part of a site and buying semi-mature stock for another, the cheapest specimen on the schedule is usually the one already standing two hundred metres away.
We will say so, even though it means selling you less. It is the same skill either way, and a transplanted forty-year-old tree does something a bought fifteen-year-old cannot.
